Hi there! Thank you for visiting my gallery! As you can see, I absolutely LOVE color and I have a huge passion for creating beautiful pieces of art that can uplift and compliment any space. What informs the depth of the work is, that while professionally trained, I am a natural intuitive and lucid dreamer. I am inspired to paint as a way of reflecting the light and beauty of the subtle realms. As Rumi so elegantly put it, 'Everything you see has its roots in the unseen world.' With this focus, my art is about finding ways to express the complexity of who we are, as well as honor the hidden dimensions. My art has been displayed in numerous exhibitions throughout the Bahamas, Canada, the USA, the Netherlands and the U.K. My art...

WOW, GORGEOUS PAINTING, JULIE
Julie Hoyle replied:
Thank you Nora. Much appreciated. This painting is currently hanging in the Grand Gallery on Grand Bahama Island as part of a 'Nocturnes' themed exhibition featuring 17 local artists. It was an amazing experience to paint. It was completely intuitive. I added layers of color, sprayed the surface when still wet, let colors run and drip and did this several times. When dry, I clearly saw the outline of the moon and the profile of a woman. I also saw the other forms. All I had to do was flesh everything out and add color and detail....
Julie Hoyle replied:
I forgot to add, there are two other forms that I decided to leave in the shadows. One, to the left of the tigers ear, it looks like the outline of a small cat. And to the right of the panther, there is a bird that looks like a peacock. Happy to have so many Totems!
